New hotel star rating system supports vending machines.
At the beginning of 2015, Germany’s hotel rating system underwent a complete overhaul. Henceforth, hotels no longer need to equip their rooms with a mini bar to receive a four star rating. Instead, they can now offer a so-called maxibar on every floor. Hensing’s vending machines are perfect for this aim.
Not only is our HotelBox a more affordable way to meet the four star criteria. It has plenty of other advantages over a conventional minibar. For one, a single machine with a wide range of products helps you save energy over a minibar in every room, and is thus more ecological. And they’re only minimally less convenient. Which means you need not worry about a drop in customer satisfaction.
Plus, you can offer a much wider selection of products in our vending machines. Already the HotelBox Deluxe offers plenty of space. If you need even more, our HotelBox Superior makes for an ideal choice. It offers the option of connecting up to four output modules to the central control module – leaving nothing to be desired!

Saving personnel costs with a vending machine
A HotelBox is more economical than a mini bar in several ways. For starters, you no longer need to fill and bill many smaller minibars. Guests instead conveniently pay at the machine in cash, either by coin or bank notes. Alternatively, you can also fit your HotelBox with a card reading device and an RFID modul for convenient contactless payments. For an even better customer experience, our vending machines can be adjusted to allow for payment with a guest’s key card.
For you as the seller, Hensing vending machines are extremely easy and convenient to use. Using our telemetry-app, you can check on the status of your products using your computer or smartphone and refill the machine in time.
